How solar panels work
Solar panels are made from a silicon semi-conductor, most commonly monocrystalline, encased behind glass in a metal frame. When the sunlight is directed at the panels, the photons from the sun are absorbed and electrons released which in turn creates free electricity.

Every system will require an inverter. The inverter will regulate and rectify the DC voltage produced by the solar panels and turn it into a useable AC voltage that is harmonised to match your property’s mains electricity.
Optional battery storage can be added to any system to maximise the gains from your system.
How many panels do I need?
Typically a domestic property will have any where between 6 – 16 panels installed depending on the size of the roof space and your energy consumption, commercial premesis’ much more. We will fully tailor a design to you based on your usage and needs.
